There's something beautiful about gritty decay mixed with signs of life like graffiti and organic matter that I feel compelled to capture little pieces of it. Most people don't recognize the wonderful scenes all around them in the city, all they need to do is look and the beauty is there.
My library photo contains over 10,000 images like the ones on my site. Sometimes, when I browse the old shots, I find that some of them are much more interesting to me now.
For me it's about a connection to the city and the excitement from being a part of it. I'll probably always take pictures of trash.
